Indoor Services Return 2020-12-30T10:40:30-06:00

One of the challenges with how we move forward is that there isn’t a scenario that will be absolutely pleasing to all of our individual views on Co-vid. This has been particularly humbling for me, because I have found that in my life I’ve tended to act as a “people pleaser”, but in pressing into Jesus with this, I’m committed to please Him as He is directing how things are to roll out in His Church. As you continue to read through this note, I trust that you will get a feel for how the indoor service will be conducted:

Our Guidelines

  1. If we have discovered that we recently have been in direct contact with someone who has Covid-19 or if we or any of our immediate family members are experiencing “like symptoms”, we will be staying home.
  2. Mask wearing (or not), will be at the discretion of each individual or family unit. We will not be making mask wearing mandatory. If you (and/or your children) feel more comfortable wearing a mask in public, please wear one at church. If you (and/or your children) are choosing to not wear a mask, please don’t feel like you need to wear one at church. Come as you are; you’ll be loved! We will have a limited number of free masks available for anyone who would prefer to where one but may have forgotten to bring their own.
  3. Our first assumption will be that we are physically distancing. When greeting one another, let’s please always remember to ask permission first before going in for a hand shake or a hug.

Seating in Sanctuary

We have reduced the number of chairs in the sanctuary quite considerably so that there will be more aisles and adequate space between each row.

Kingdom Kids

We will have a Kingdom Kids program beginning Sunday, October 4th. The children will stay with their parents for worship and announcements. Then parents will escort their child(ren) to their age appropriate classrooms.

Coffee/Drinking Fountains

For a time, we will not have operational drinking fountains nor free coffee. We strongly encourage you to bring your own coffee/beverage to enjoy during the service! If you have children, please remember to bring beverages and snacks for them!

Bathrooms/Hand Sanitizer Stations

We have updated our bathrooms with touchless faucets and air hand dryers.

We will have a number of hand sanitizer stations throughout the building: in the bathrooms, in each Kingdom Kids classroom and also in the foyer and Sanctuary.

Church For Home

We realize that not everyone will be at a place where they’re ready to attend a live service and also that these changes might not fit your desires, even if you are ready; however, please know that you absolutely matter to us just the same! We will continue to offer our “Church for Home” as an online church option and are looking to make some improvements! We are in the process of purchasing video equipment that will allow us to live stream our entire service, worship and all! We are also live streaming our Sunday morning service live on our Facebook page, just click Northwoods Vineyard Church Facebook Page. You do not need a Facebook account to view our live stream services! This will give everyone at home more of an in-person service feel, but you will be able to enjoy it in your jammies in your living room!

No matter what this season looks like and the challenges that we are facing, we as Northwoods Vineyard Church are committed to Christ, His church and His cause – together!

If you cannot yet attend, please know that we love you and are praying for you. We ask that everyone please be praying for the service as well as our pastoral staff and board. Lastly, if you have any concerns or prayer needs, please don’t hesitate to contact the church office, myself or any of the church staff.

May God cover you with His presence and empower you to reflect His light in this time,Grace and peace be to you all through our Lord Jesus Christ! May God cover you with His presence and empower you to reflect His light in this time,

Nate
